Speed should be measured with accuracy

If negative marking is enabled, compare the score with total attempts and accuracy. That comparison shows whether additional attempts were productive or based on weak guesses.
Review puzzle and calculation mistakes differently
For a reasoning puzzle, check the first assumption that caused the arrangement to fail. For arithmetic, identify whether the problem came from the formula, setup or calculation. For English, separate vocabulary gaps from grammar or rushed reading. Topic-level grouping prevents all errors from being treated as the same vague weakness.
A useful practice cycle
- Take a timed mixed pack in one uninterrupted sitting.
- Record the topics where time was lost, even when the answer was correct.
- Revise one method or puzzle type and complete a short focused drill.
- Retake a mixed mock after revision and compare both time and accuracy.

How to handle high-speed sections
Banking practice rewards fast selection, but the fastest route is not always solving every question immediately. A student should identify direct English and arithmetic items quickly, mark lengthy puzzles for later if they block momentum and avoid restarting the same calculation multiple times. When reviewing, note whether a wrong answer came from choosing the wrong question order, missing a condition, calculating too quickly or guessing after time pressure.
What to compare across attempts
Compare more than the final score. Track number of attempts, accuracy, skipped questions and the topics that consumed time. If attempts rise but accuracy drops, the strategy is becoming risky. If accuracy is stable but attempts are low, the student may need speed drills. If one puzzle destroys the timer, practise case setup and skipping rules before taking another mixed banking mock.
How to choose banking difficulty
Choose easy when rebuilding a topic or returning after a gap. Choose medium for normal mixed practice where speed and accuracy both matter. Choose hard only when the basics are stable and the goal is pressure handling. A hard paper is useful when it exposes a specific bottleneck; it is not useful when it only creates random guesses and unread questions.
