Audience: Students preparing for long mocks. This guide is public preparation material written to help students review mock-test results and choose a focused next study action.

Why is stamina different from knowledge?

A student can know the syllabus and still lose marks in a long paper because attention drops. Stamina is the ability to keep reading carefully, calculating cleanly and skipping wisely after many questions. It must be practiced under a timer.

How should full papers be scheduled?

Do not take a full paper every day if review becomes weak. Use full papers when you can protect time for analysis. Between full papers, repair the topics that appeared in the report. This makes the next long attempt more meaningful.

What should be measured?

Measure accuracy by section, skipped questions, late-paper mistakes and time pressure. If the final quarter of the paper has more careless errors, the issue may be concentration. If one section consumes too much time, the issue may be order of attempt.

Worked review: locating the concentration drop

Split a 100-question paper into four equal blocks and compare accuracy, skipped questions and average time. If the first three blocks are stable but the last block has more misreads, the weakness is likely attention or pacing rather than syllabus knowledge. If one subject causes the drop wherever it appears, the issue is subject load. This block analysis tells you whether to train longer sittings, change section order, add a brief reset routine or repair a specific topic.

Diagnose the pattern before adding more practice

What you noticeLikely causeTargeted repair
Late-paper errors are mostly misreads and sign mistakes.Attention is dropping before knowledge does.Train progressively longer sets and use a short posture-breathing reset at fixed checkpoints.
One section drains time and affects everything after it.Section order or exit discipline is poor.Test a different order while keeping the same section time caps.
Many full papers are attempted but scores stay flat.Review time is being sacrificed for volume.Require a complete correction session before scheduling the next full paper.

Your next focused session

  1. Divide the last full paper into four blocks and calculate accuracy for each.
  2. Classify the drop as attention, subject load, timing or knowledge.
  3. Choose one change for the next paper and keep all other conditions stable.
  4. Compare block data again before deciding whether the change worked.

How to check whether the repair worked

Use a short set that contains Full paper practice but is not identical to the examples you just reviewed. Compare accuracy, time and the reason for every error with the previous attempt. One correct answer is not enough evidence; look for the same method to hold across several items. If the original error returns, narrow the drill further. If accuracy is stable but time remains high, keep the method and shorten the timer gradually.

Next step: open the sample question explanations to see how a correct answer should be reviewed, or return to the study guide library.
